Christmas Parade

So, where I'm from (Utah) you aren't able to spend much time outside in the winter unless you are bundled up for playing in the snow. Well, since there isn't much (or any yet) snow in Kentucky, this is what we do outside in the winter. The "big town" that's 15 miles from post has a Christmas parade every year. I say "big town" like that because it really is a large town, but this parade was totally small town style. Tons of people walking passing out candy, several Santa's waving and shaking hands, lots of cars, and no floats. It was the kind of parade that if you blinked you probably missed, but I loved the memory we made of walking 1/2 mile to the McDonald's that according to Daddy was "just around the corner" and Daddy almost missing the entire parade while getting our dinner. Good times ya'll!!

Oh, and if you're wondering why the influx of blog posts, I could tell you that I'm starting early on my New Year's Resolution to journal more often, but the real reason is that we got a camera as an early Christmas present and I'm totally diggin Picasa!!

So fun, can't believe you did this in December! Sadly, with this stupid warm weather, you could have done the same thing in Utah!!
