First Day Out

We had our first "outing" on Thursday when I took Averie to the doctor for her two week checkup. This was the first time that I took both Easton and Averie out by myself. I was a little nervous about being out numbered, but quite anxious to get out of the house. It actually went really well, contrary to how it looks in the picture. (Once we got Averie in the car, she fell right asleep.)
The doctor said Averie is doing just great. She's growing like a weed. She grew almost 2 inches and 11 oz. in just two weeks. I guess I don't need to tell you that she a good little eater, huh?

The doctor let Easton listen to Averie's heartbeat with the stethoscope and look at her eyes with his little tool (whatever it's called). It was really cute. It took all of my will power not to whip out the camera for a snapshot. I didn't want to look too much like a crazy Mommy.

We went to a couple other places, but I was smart enough to take back-up in the form of Grandma and Aunt Whitney. It was still a little interesting getting both of them into the store by myself. It's a good thing most kids come one at a time.

Yeah!!! Trust me, it gets easier. Well, maybe not easier....you just get used to it! Let me know how it goes the next time without the back up!

It does get easier. It is funny because Christian says with we we will be out numbered. And I have told him. Is that I am out numbered every day all day long so whats the difference. It totally gets easier though. I don't know about 3 yet but you probably have some time. :) btw. they are sooooo cute.

I'm glad it went well for you! I just have to tell you, I am totally addicted to bows, so of course my eyes went right to that cute one you had on Averie! Be careful not to be addicted like this it is seriously not good for your wallet!

Too late on being addicted to bows. I need to post a picture of all the bows I have! It's pretty sad!!

There is no such thing as too many bows!

I'm so glad you left a comment on my blog so I could come see your darling little girl! I don't think I even knew you were pregnant again...has it been that long? Anyway, congratulations! And outings definitely get easier as they get a little older!

Having the shingles stinks! I tell people that the worst part is not being able to be with my grandkids!! Can't wait to play with Easton and hold Averie again! I love you all! Mom Castillo

Woo hoo, congrats!

I know what you mean about crazy picture taking.

I was walking to my car and walking into the hospital was a guy who was in complete and authentic African robes on two crutches with only one leg.. it was a visual so outside of my norm that I really wanted to snap a picture for my blog, I caught myself at the last minute, he just might have misinterpreted the gesture.

Haley she is a doll! Girls really are fun, I can't say they are better than boys, just Soo much fun to dress and doll up. And the bows there is a reason I started making them on my own. I always wanted new. I would love to see her in person. I'm glad your doing great. CONGRATULATIONS!!

Congratulations Haley! It's quite a transition from 1-2 kids. I'll never forget my first time out with both of them. Best wishes!

I am happy you found my blog... I added you to my Paige, hope that's okay, because it's too late! Anyways, your kids are adorable! How could they not be... you are a lucky mom, though I am sure some days you don't feel that way:)
If you get a min I have a favor to ask of you. I have started a flower business and am working on getting a website put together. I am looking for a few people to write a little "testimonial" (as my website designer calls them) on my work... so I was wondering if you could write a little something for me. It doesn't have to be long (a few sentences or short paragraph is great!) and please BE HONEST. Maybe just say something about what you liked or really remember or whatever would be awesome. Let me know if you'd be comfortable doing that! Thanks!
