Celebrate Good Times!!

These are the moments when I wish I could go out in my backyard and do a round-off followed by a back handspring and a couple back flips. You know how cheerleaders do when they get excited about something. Well, because I can't do any of the above mentioned tricks, I will have to celebrate by posting on my blog. Averie slept for 6 hours last night. After I finished feeding her at 10:30, she was as bright eyed as ever. Landon, being as sweet as he is, took her for me so I could go to bed. I think he can tell that after three weeks of only getting small amounts of sleep at a time, it's starting to wear on me. Anyway, after eating, Averie was a little fussy. I should've been asleep, but I couldn't stop listening through my door to hear to how she was. Apparently, all that crying tuckered her out because she didn't wake up again until 4:30 to eat again. Only other Mothers can truly know the joy and surprise that comes when you wake up and realize that you just slept for longer than three hours. I know it's a fluke and it probably won't happen again for another six weeks, but today, I'm celebrating. Maybe I'll go do a somersault!!

Luck girl! I don't think I have yet got 6 hour of sleep. She has got that long between feedings a few times, but unfortunetly I'm never asleep for all of it. I guess that's just my life since Nate work until late. I have to stay up and wait for him, that's like the only time I really see him! Count your blessings!

Hooray for sleep! Someone once told me that I could handle anything as long as I got some rest. It's so true! I'm a sane person when I sleep. When I don't, I'm...not so sane! :) Congratulations, and good luck with future sleep attempts!
