I’ve been tagged . . again

Link to the person(s) who tagged me. http://chiefcrawlingrock.blogspot.com/ http://angelablogs2.blogspot.com/ (It has taken me so long to do this that apparently I needed another tag to take some action.)

Six things most people don't know about me

1. It drives me nuts to see “gunk” in people eyes, nose or ears, especially kids.

2. Landon and I are going to do a triathlon next year.

3. I used to (and still sometimes do) check for spiders in my bed before I'll get in. (haven't you people seen the movie Arachnophobia?) My sweet husband checks for me now. . or at least he says he does.

4. Obvious grammatical errors drive me nuts! (their, they're, there) The other day I saw an ad for at Hart's that said Drink a Ice Cold Pepsi! Ahhh!! (I'm a little nervous about posting this in case sometime in the future I have a moment of grammatical weakness.

5. I always have a tissue in my pocket. You never know when it'll come in handy!

6. I am the queen of returning things. I don’t ever wear/use them. I’m just a horrible decision maker and sometimes I don’t decide for sure until I get the item home.

Six lucky people I’m tagging
1. Amanda
2. Jen
3. Michelle
4. Lanae
5. Mom Castillo
6. Becky

I used to be the same way with returning things. My new technique is to not buy it unless I either can't wait to get home and put it on, or if I'm not sure about it, rather than getting it and returning it, I go home and wait. If I'm still thinking about it a day or two later, I go back and make the purchase. If I am able to forget about it, I figure it's not worth the money.

I can totally relate to the grammar thing. Proofreading reports was one of my responsibilities before I quit my job to have kids. It's not as bad as it used to be, but I still find myself proofing things as I read.

Grammar is also a HUGE pet peeve of mine. I hate store signage that is incorrect. If you stick your tissue in your watch, you'll be like grandma!

I am soooo beyond mortified. Why didn't someone have the courtesy to tell me that I made a grammatical error while trying to tell you all how much they drive me nuts!! How embarrassing!!! Guess I didn't proofread like I should have :)

Its so fun learning new things about everyone. I think its cute Landon will check for spiders in the bed for you. Now that is true love.
